Today was the closest I've ever seen a bride's house to the groom's house. Gerard didn't have too far to go to find the woman for him! So I was able to call in with Gerard for a while before going round to the girls house.
The ceremony was held in Craigavole Church, after which we travelled to Bishop's Gate outside Downhill for the main photoshoot. This was my first time to Bishop's Gate and I am hooked. It is perfect for wedding photography. Lovely gardens, paths, surrounded by tall trees providing some shelter from the wind.
The reception was across the border in the Redcastle Hotel. Among the first few photographs at the hotel you will notice the wedding cake, covered in hundreds and thousands. This was actually made my Máire & her good friend Katrina. I've never seen one before - Class!
