Justine & Patrick's Wedding
16th July 2011
This isn't the first time Justine has appeared in the Blog. She was bridesmaid at Claire & Karol's wedding last year. Claire being todays groom's sister. Its great to get this kind of 'knock on' business.
Anyway, todays wedding was an eventful one! I'm putting most of it down to the visit to the Tumbledown immediately after the ceremony. Everyone was in fine tune after leaving the pub. But the first surprise for me was the gardens at Justine's home. They were amazing. It worked out well that she was ready really early as we headed out to the gardens to get some shots before I left to go to Moneyglass chapel to see the men.
So, after the ceremony and after the Tumbledown, we headed to visit Justine's granny at her home in Annaghmore country, outside Toome. Then we went to the private residence at Moyola Golf Club, where Justine had pre-booked for some photos. We sat in the cars watching the rain fall for 15 minutes before deciding to call it quits and move on the Tullylagan Country House Hotel outside Cookstown. When we arrived at the Tullylagan the sun was out and the ground was dry. Ireland!
We got some great shots around the Tullylagan before heading in for the meal. As I said earlier, I have worked with Patrick's family before but today was my first time meeting Justine's family. Both families were a joy to work with even going out of their way to look after me!
Justine said to me at one point during the day, "You'll have a lot to write about in your blog on this wedding!" She was right.
Thanks to everyone, Justine & Patrick, the bridal party and the 2 families. Hope you like the pics.

Like father like son. Patrick probably began drinking his Guinness through a straw too.

Justine's granny, just 93 years old!

Killian didn't have much consideration for my family photos session!

I have to give Justine credit for these next 3 images. There was some time to spare before being called in to the reception room so Justine suggested the bridal suite would be nice for a few pics. So much for a 5 minute rest!
