John Denton Seminar
26th May 2011 - 0 comments

Today I attended a very worthwhile seminar by contemporary wedding & fashion photographer John Denton.
Angela & Declan's Wedding
18th May 2011 - 2 comments

A bit of driving to do today. Firstly from Swatragh to Newtownards to see Angela before she left home, then back into Belfast where the service was being held in the Belfast Metropolitan Tabernacle. But it was worth it to get to shoot a couple like Angela & Declan.
Aimee & Raymond's Wedding
29th April 2011 - 4 comments

I have known Aimee since she was a wee teenager. Not that long ago Aimee, eh? So it was great to be the photographer for her and Raymond's special day. The day started out at Aimee's house/pub, O'Neills outside Feeny. Then into Feeny for the ceremony.
Siobhan & Kevin's Wedding
16th April 2011 - 6 comments

Its always nice getting the chance to photograph the wedding of a couple I am already familiar with. Siobhan is my brother-in-law's sister and I have known Kevin and her for probably about ten years. Also thrown into the mix, my sister was a bridesmaid and her two children were pageboy and flower girl, along with Amy the other flower girl.
Roisin & John Paul's Wedding
19th March 2011 - 2 comments

My first wedding of the 2011 season. Roisin and John Paul were married in Castledawson and before progressing to the marina at Ballyronan for the main photo session we had a quick stop off at Roisin's house, the wellies were donned, and we took to the fields to get to a lovely looking fairy tree situated on the hill behind Roisin's. I have to say it was a great idea. Incorporating something personal and unique like this can really produce photos that stand out from the norm.
Lisa & Jason's Wedding
21st December 2010 - 7 comments

I'm not sure whether 'White Wedding' describes today's wedding - 'Blue Wedding' may be more appropriate. It was freezing! One of the times I looked at the reading in the car it was -8. That didn't stop this gang. I'm putting most of the bravado down to the hip flasks that were produced throughout the day.
Emma & Barry's Wedding
30th October 2010 - 3 comments

I can recall my first meeting with Emma & Barry one year ago. Much of our discussion was on a plan for the doomsday weather scenario, given that the wedding was to be at the end of October. That plan wasn't necessary. We had a perfect day.
Sabrina & Martin's Wedding
22nd October 2010 - 2 comments

It is a great advantage on a wedding day when the reception venue has all that is required for a photo session. Today I made an addition to my list of such venues. An Grianan Hotel in Donegal.
Claire & Karol's Wedding
02nd October 2010 - 0 comments

I have never witnessed anything like the way the weather worked with us on Claire & Karol's wedding. Every time we got into the cars to move on to the next location it started to rain. By the time we got to the next location the rain had stopped and the ground was dry! Remarkable, considering it is October too.
I am really happy with how the photography went on the day. Claire was so relaxed and at ease in front of the camera.....
Una & Gavin's Wedding
10th September 2010 - 5 comments

It was back to Dunluce Castle again today to make use of this excellent location for Una & Gavin's main photo session. The day began in the tranquil Brockagh setting of Una's home until her father got going with his shotgun....
Lisa & Michael's Wedding
27th August 2010 - 0 comments

A preview of Lisa & Michael's wedding which was held today in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Moortown, Co. Tyrone. Following the ceremony and a quick visit to Lisa's granny who couldn't make it to the church, we visited 'The Battery' for some photos taking in the picturesque lough shore.
Katie & Keith's Wedding
26th August 2010 - 1 comment

Probably the most local wedding I will ever shoot. Katie lives about 1/2 mile from me. The ceremony was in my own parish and the reception was in Ardtara House, which is on my road.
Brenda & Brendan's Wedding
20th August 2010 - 3 comments

SLIGHTLY late in getting this post up for Brenda and Brendan, but hopefully better late than never... The ceremony today was in Coalisland, followed by a photo session in Drum Manor outside Cookstown.
Rebecca & Peter's Wedding
07th August 2010 - 1 comment

It seems to be my season for photographing international couples weddings. Earlier this year I had an Irish-American wedding, today it was Irish-Australian. Peter from Dungiven, after 10 years, finally got round to marrying Rebecca from Sydney.
Caroline & Mark's Wedding
05th June 2010 - 1 comment

Today I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of Dungiven duo, Caroline & Mark. The weather was thankfully on our side with only a slight drizzle of rain as Caroline approached St Patrick's Church in Dungiven. Sir!
Sarah & Paul's Wedding
16th April 2010 - 0 comments

My first Irish-American wedding. Today I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of couple Sarah (a former New York resident) and Paul (Omagh). The weather was absolutely fantastic, barely a cloud in the sky.
Cathy & Kieran's Wedding
09th January 2010 - 0 comments

Cathy's prayers for a 'white wedding' came true last saturday when she got maybe more snow than she bargained for - there was a sigh of relief when word came through to the house that Kieran had made it over the Glenshane and arrived in Moneyglass.
