Jo-Ann & Niall are proof that you can organise and put together a great wedding in 6 weeks!

After 7 months of no weddings it was a real joy to get back. Hopefully things will continue to improve and those couples that have rescheduled their weddings (some even twice) will have no more hiccups.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at the beautiful Larchfield Estate and I absolutely loved it.

There are several key elements that will affect how my images turn out from a wedding: the couple (obviously), the two families, locations, the weather, a nice ceremony, a nice reception venue & last but not least a bridal party that is good steam.

It was an absolute privilege to be asked to photograph Sarah & Shane's wedding. Lovely families, a bridal party that were full of the craic and a couple that glowed with happiness from beginning to end.

Here's proof that you don't need good weather to have a belter of a wedding day. Lisa and John wouldn't have been expecting snow, sleet, rain & wind for their Easter wedding, but that's what they got.

What a great start to the 2018 season. Even though it was absolutely baltic, Aine was adamant she was going to the beach for her photos.

I'll begin with thanking Lorcan Doherty for working with me on this one. Lorcan is Darragh's uncle and drew the short straw on the wedding morning (he got to photograph the lads and I got the ladies!). He snapped away throughout the day and got some great shots which are combined with mine here to form the blog.

We definitely achieved the wind swept look at our stop at Glenshane Forest today. As we can't choose the weather on our wedding day the elements just have to be confronted in the pursuit of those special photos.
